Any of the items listed below are mandatory items of discussion between CPEA and the administration of Crown Point Community School Corp. and should be discussed before they are implemented and/or changed. Items below can be adjusted to any month to reflect the needs of your district.

The Negotiations Committee negotiates terms and conditions of employment with the Board of Trustees or their designated representatives. After making proposals and compromises in the process of reaching a tentative agreement, the tentative agreements are brought to a vote from the entire membership.
Contracts are often written for 2 years at a time. Our next contract will be negotiated in 2021.
The regular dialogue between the building representatives and building administrators is important to find building-level solutions. Reach out to your CPEA building representative.
