With hundreds of candidates competing for teaching positions at Colorado's top schools, making a positive first impression at a job fair can be the key that lands the job.  Whether you are attending the Charter School Teacher Job Fair or other university job fairs, the setting alone can be overwhelming.  Don't let a busy room and a competitive field knock you off your game. 

Make a Great Impression: Job Fair Success for Teachers 

This workshop will give you a behind the scenes look at the day of the fair, insight into what to expect from various schools, and techniques for increasing your chance at a second interview.  

 The workshop will cover: 

• Job fair do's and don'ts

• Preparation - what to do in advance

• What to expect on the day of the fair

• Time management throughout the day

• Tracking and managing your interview schedule

• Researching schools to find a good match

• Professionalism and decorum

• Interview strategies

• Questions you should ask 

• Post job fair action steps
