Join us in celebrating the Easter season!
The Easter season (or Eastertide) lasts for 50 days, beginning on Easter Sunday and culminating on Pentecost Sunday. It includes the Ascension of Jesus (40th day) through Pentecost (50th day). Pentecost marks the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, empowering them to begin their public ministry and spread the gospel. This event symbolizes the beginning of the Church's mission to the world, so it is considered the "birthday of the Church."
