Use Steam activity as background context for a better multiplayer plan.

Looking up the ARC Raiders player count before arranging a session is reasonable. The important step is knowing what you want the figure to tell you. A Steam population chart can describe measured activity, but it cannot replace checking your group’s platforms, availability and expectations.
Recorded 20 October 2026. These are dated Steam measurements from ActivePlayer’s ARC Raiders player-count dashboard, not a live counter embedded in this article.
Concurrent Steam players: 70,452
24-hour peak: 125,761
Average concurrent players, last 30 days: 55,523.9
All-time Steam peak: 465,097
The concurrent count was timestamped 04:44 UTC; the historical table was updated at 04:32 UTC. The 24-hour peak is the dashboard’s displayed recent-period value. Figures may change after publication. Steam coverage excludes console players and other PC stores.
Concurrent players are people active at the same time in the measured environment. That differs from the total number who played at any point during the day. The recent peak and 30-day average add context, but neither expands the chart to include every platform.
The ARC Raiders official website describes cross-platform social play. Keep that product feature separate from the scope of the statistics. Cross-platform play does not mean a Steam dashboard has access to a complete console headcount.
A global count does not reveal the distribution across regions, matchmaking settings or time zones. Two groups can encounter different conditions while looking at the same headline player population. Treat queue expectations as a separate question.
Before the session, consult the ARC Raiders PC listing on Steam for current platform information. Then agree on practical details with the group. A player-count snapshot is useful context, not a guarantee that setup or matchmaking will work a certain way.
If you follow the audience trend, use the same weekday and approximate time when possible. Save the timestamp and distinguish the current count from the highest point in a longer window. That makes the next observation easier to interpret.
You can explore the ActivePlayer game directory when discussing another multiplayer evening. Compare equivalent measures, then return to the group’s preferences. A population chart helps frame the conversation; it should not decide whether an adventure fits the people playing it.
