I chose to better this worksheet by, first, providing the students with more space to work on the worksheet and show their work. I also thought the students using this worksheet could benefit from less repetition, therefore I reduced the number of problems. In the "Verifying Tangent Lines" section, I decided to include blue lines that clarify what line length certain numbers represent. I felt this was not clear in the original worksheet. Lastly, I felt as though the organization of the original worksheet could be improved to benefit the students thought process. The original worksheet does not state whether or not the students will need calculators to solve the problems, therefore, I decided to organize the new worksheet by placing and labeling the non-calculator problems first and then placing and labeling the calculator problems next. This excludes the challenge problem which is also labeled. In addition, I provided section titles to clarify what students would be doing in each section. I think this improvement clarifies the worksheet and will help the students to solve the problems more efficiently.
