SED 200 Assignment: Inquiry Project
In SED 200, we were tasked with a research project on a classroom issue important to us. I chose to focus on the use of African American vernacular English (or AAVE) in the classroom between Caucasian and African American individuals. My main research question was as follows: Is the difference in language and interaction between Black students and White teachers actually affecting the student's education?
