In order to increase awareness of our comprehensive school counseling program , I created a contest asking staff members to guess how many classroom lessons the school counseling team had presented so far that year. Submitted guesses ranged from 5 to 1,900!
After the contest, I created a data one pager to showcase some of our school counseling program's process and perception data.
I started each classroom lesson during NSCW by informing students that NSCW is an opportunity for people to learn more about what school counselors do. I encouraged students to talk to their families about what they learn about in their Second Step lessons.
