The guide includes resources that are available within Poway Unified School District as well as local resources for specific populations such as:
- Students with disabilities
- Military families
- Undocumented immigrants
- LGBTQIA students
Aligns with California School Counseling Specialization Standards: 21 (personal and social development), 23 (advocacy), 25 (individual counseling), 27 (collaboration, coordination & team building), 29 (prevention education & training), and 30 (research, program evaluation and technology)
