Welcome to "Quantum Mechanics without a Wrench"

It's a journey perhaps as strange as any that Alice encountered in Wonderland, but one well worth taking where, for example, you'll meet Schrödinger's Cat instead of the Cheshire Cat.

This 6-week course will meet on Thursdays at 1:15 pm, beginning March 9 and ending April 13, with the last class devoted to some modern developments. The reading and agenda for each session are shown in the webpages Week 1 to Week 6 (see black bar at the top)

Reading Guide (essential):

The Reading Guide is a chapter-by-chapter guide that I've assembled to accompany the readings in the Course Book. It also gives detailed recommendations on what sections to "skim or skip" to lead you over occasional somewhat more difficult material. The Guide includes "Points to Ponder", many of which will be the basis for some classroom discussion.

In the final three chapters, 13-15, "skim or skip" at your own most comfortable level of reading and understanding.
