The rules below are general Roleplaying rules that you are required to follow at all times, and at the very least while playing County Lines UK.
1. Respect and Conduct
Avoid using racist, homophobic, explicit, sexual, or offensive language, both in and out of character.
Always show respect to women; avoid using derogatory terms such as "slag" or "slut."
2. Character Expectations
1.03: Use realistic character names that resemble real-world names.
1.04: Do not scam or deceive players out of character for property.
3. Asset Management
Asset transfers between players or your own characters require a valid in-character reason, unless approved by an admin.
Each player can own a maximum of three unique vehicles.
Unique vehicles must remain with the original owner and not be resold for in-city currency.
4. Privacy and Safety
Do not leak others' personal information or make threats.
Do not intimidate or harass players for out-of-character reasons.
5. Game Mechanics
Characters are automatically deleted after 60 days of inactivity, along with items or unique vehicles.
Forced withdrawals from a player's bank for robbery purposes are prohibited.
Exploiting vehicle hotwiring through controller or key spamming is not allowed.
6. Community Standards
Directing players to other FiveM Servers, known as poaching, is strictly forbidden.
Automatic weapons are restricted to heist scenarios only; other weapons are allowed in various RP scenarios.
7. Hacking & Exploiting
Players must not use mods, trainers, or any software that provides an advantage. This includes any hacks to disrupt the server.
Exploiting server bugs for any advantage is prohibited. Bugs should be reported to the admin team via a ticket immediately upon discovery.
Exploitation of server scripts is forbidden, such as bypassing the AFK timer or adding elements to your screen to simulate a crosshair.
Combat logging to restore health is not allowed.
8. IC & OOC Interactions
Players are required to always remain in-character (IC).
Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone, and commands like /ME are to be used only for IC content.
OOC videos or screenshots can be used as IC evidence only if the footage contains the character using the /e record command to hold a phone in their hand.
You may role-play a hidden camera, wire, or dash-cam in a vehicle if recordings are unedited and include role-play starting and ending.
Sexual role-play can only be done when both parties agree and not in public places.
Only administrators are allowed force pause RP or investigate rule breaches. (Only in rare cases will an admin take action while RP is active. Put in a ticket and someone will investigate the issue by the end of the day).
Players are welcome to voice their opinion but should never disobey administrators.
You should remain in character in voice at all times. Referencing OOC information in voice, no matter how vague the wording is, is considered going OOC. This includes “RP Checking”.
9. Meta Gaming
Meta-gaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information.
A clear, working microphone is required to join the server. You are not allowed to be in Discord voice chat, or any other type of voice chat programs when you’re roleplaying in the city. All voice chats must be kept to in-game communications.
Discord is the staff's primary form of communication and is required for all players on the server, tickets need to be used with clips in these instances no owner or staff member should be contacted via DMs.
If banned, you cannot return to the city or discord via alternate accounts. The Staff team reserves the right to permanently ban any individual(s) from the community at any time if they are considered highly disruptive and/or break rules.
Do not go into an active RP scenario you were not originally a part of unless you are called via Twitter, Radio etc.
10. Combat Log/Purposeful Disconnect
When engaged in active role-play, players shall not disconnect from the server until the scenario has completely ended. Characters involved in criminal activity must be completely clear of any Law Enforcement interaction before disconnecting. Accidental disconnects should be communicated via Discord.
If you are no longer in an active scene and make it obvious you are "flying out" whether its by speaking with someone or posting via social media, you are at that stage not able to be forced into a scenario and are then given permission to disconnect but it must be immediate.
11. Not Valuing Life (NVL)
Fail RP NVL or “Not Valuing Life” is the act of responding to a dangerous scene in a way that is completely unrealistic and/or puts yourself in imminent harm.
Blatantly not fearing for your life.
Committing a violent act against a group that has you outnumbered and has already shown their intent to do harm.
Using a communication device to call for help when you are already held against your will.
Fleeing when surrounded by a group that has communicated that they will do harm, including law enforcement that have escalated to lethal force.
Jumping from a fatal height to flee.
12. New Life Rules (NLR)
The new life rule is triggered whenever a player’s character is purposefully dumped in the water by another character.
The deceased character loses memory of their death, the events that caused it and the information collected in that time frame.
All parties involved must avoid interaction with each other for 30 minutes. A player must not return to the area of their death for that time frame or attempt to retrieve lost possessions from involved players. An exception is made for Police Officers, If they are killed within PD they can retain their memory of the events. They still must go through the process of obtaining items before returning to RP and don not have a timer!
You cannot be reminded of events that led up to your death by anyone.
13. Storm (Restarts)
You cannot start any scene 30 minutes prior to the server storm or until 30 minutes after the server storm. Failure to follow this rule could result in a failed RP claim.
14. Dumping & Robbing
When going after someone or any altercation that could end in a life being taken. You have 2 choices, either you rob them or you dump them, but you cannot do both. Failure to follow this will result in an admin reversing the scene and all items being returned to the killed individual. PD and their vehicles are not allowed to be robbed at all.
15. Character Killed (CK)
Once you Character Kill, you will not be allowed back into the city under that character name. You cannot re-create your character using the same name and information nor will it be allowed to place a ticket in asking for your character to be brought back.
16. Random Death Match (RDM)
Killing and/or attempting to kill without intent to roleplay is not allowed.
17. Vehicle Death Match (VDM)
Using a vehicle to kill and/or attempt to kill without intent to roleplay is not allowed.
18. Car Radios
No copyright music is to be played via any means within the city, we have streamers who could be affected as a result of such material being played.
You are the respect the presence of other players and your environment, music is to be kept at a respectable level at all times, along with the content of the music lyrics, the only exception is the use of DJ Sets, as players should be aware of the environment they are going into.
