I am a L2 Qualified Dog Groomer - after recently having a baby I am looking to complete the L3 Qualification along side working. I am a 1-1 groomer and work in a small, quiet groom room. No other people or dogs are present in my salon whilst your dog is having their groom. I have a passion for working with nervous and complex dogs after working on my own dog, Otis, who was fearful of being groomed. I will always be honest about your dogs behaviour so you can rest assured that I am being transparent about your dogs groom. Nevous dogs and dogs undergoing training are most welcome - having a complex dog myself - I 'get it' and will work with you to achieve the best for your dogs coat and well-being.
Suitable for puppies up to 6 months old. This is a gentle session to get your puppy used to the grooming experience. A gentle bath and dry and mini puppy trim if required.
Suitable for all dogs, but particularly short haired breeds who don't require a cut/style. This helps to wash away dirt and dead fur, maintaining a healthy coat and skin.
Suited to double coated dogs or dogs who are heavily shedding. Specialist products are used and time is spent blowing out the coat to reduce shedding.
Suitable for dogs who require a light, tidy trim only - for example a tidy of the paws and feathers with no other cutting or clipping involved.
This service is for dogs who require a full body cut and style. Regular appointments are usually required to keep the dogs coat healthy and to prevent matting.
If you have a particularly nervous dog, desensitisation sessions are also available to help your dog become familiar with me and the room without having a groom.
A de-shedding mud bath spa treatment is also available. This includes a double deshedding shampoo, a shedding mud bath and a bow - priced at an additional £10
For a price list and enquiries please email us at countrysidecanineshuddersfield@gmail.com (please note that prices are an estimate and may differ at the time of the appointment depending on your dogs size, coat and behaviour).
Grooming appointments are available on Tuesday and Friday mornings and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
Nervous and reactive dogs are welcome but they may require a muzzle during the appointment. Aggressive dogs are only considered if they are undergoing training with a reputable trainer and they are willing to attend at least one appointment.
Dogs must be up to date with flea/worming treatments and vaccinations.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions.
