At its best CS is a mind game. You can beat better players and better teams by fooling them, using your grenade resources to gain ground, and by being smart about how you counter an incoming play. CS2 has added a lot of small things to the mix, some of which may in the long run prove more consequential, but this is the element that will most transform the meta. It's also the one thing about CS2 I haven't seen a single player complaining about.

Japan relies on U.S. extended deterrence and its own missile defense systems for strategic deterrence. Yet, as Japanese strategists write in the National Security Strategy, missile defense is not enough to deal with the current security environment. Countries have been building up large, sophisticated missile forces in the Indo-Pacific region. Japan is planning to invest in a slew of counterstrike capabilities, which are expected to attack enemy missile launchers and military facilities to reduce the number of missiles flying to the Japanese homeland. Japanese counterstrike capabilities and missile defense systems are intertwined and essential parts of strategic deterrence.

Japan declared it would look to possess stand-off weapons as a counterstrike means. This includes purchasing Tomahawk missiles and making its Type-12 surface-to-ship missiles longer-range and available from air, sea, and ground platforms. Japanese leaders are also considering making improvements to intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities to enhance targeting capabilities for these missiles. These are undoubtedly steps in the right direction. However, Japan still faces two challenges.

Minh Le has been previously involved with developing mods in the form of Navy SEALs for Quake and Action Quake 2.[3] However, he felt that he wanted more control over development and thus decided to start development on his own mod.[4] As Le had already used the Quake and Quake 2 engines when working on previous mods, he felt that using the Half-Life engine was a logical progression.[5] The fact that Half-Life was based on a realistic setting helped sell the idea that it would be the most suitable for his concept of a realistic mod pitting terrorists against counter-terrorists.[3]

Fast forward to October 13th, 2023 and now Valve releases a statement that Anti-Lag+ as used by AMD latest drivers are causing their VAC/in-house anti-cheat to automatically ban users in CounterStrike 2 - forever giving them a VAC strike on their account. I don't need to explain why that is horrible for a normal user as a VAC ban takes away a lot of your online rights and server access in a lot of games.

A critical strike is a damage event that deals 175% of its normal damage by default, denoted as critical strike damage. This can occur on some items and abilities, and almost always on basic attacks. Depending on the effect, a critical strike would occur under specific conditions, or based on critical strike chance.

The most common form of critical strike occurs on basic attacks, which cannot critically strike structures. The exceptions are Fiora's Bladework, Jhin's Whisper, Master Yi's Double Strike, and Rengar's Savagery.

Champions can increase their chances to critically strike and the damage they deal with critical strikes using items and abilities. Critical strikes are especially valuable for champions who deal damage primarily with basic attacks rather than abilities. Some champions, like Ashe, have an affinity for critical strikes and benefit more than others from items that improve them.

Critical strike chance (often simply crit chance) is a stat that denotes the probability, or chance, that a basic attack will critically strike. Some damaging effects may be able to critically strike using the same chance, some others may scale with critical strike chance but are usually not able to critically strike themselves, and some may critically strike without a pre-requisite for this chance but based on other conditions.

All champions start with 0% critical strike chance, and the only ways to increase it are items or abilities. Critical strike chance cannot exceed 100%, but some effects may be special-cased to benefit from the excess, such as by granting additional statistics (e.g. Senna's Absolution).

When averaged over a high number of basic attacks (i.e. calculating damage per second), critical strike chance is essentially a damage multiplier. At base critical strike damage (75% bonus damage), every 1% of critical chance equates to a 0.75% damage increase.

Many abilities in the game enhance basic attacks, causing them to deal increased damage. Since these are basic attacks, they can critically strike, with a few exceptions (see below), however, the ability's damage itself will only be amplified by a critical strike for the following abilities.

Some ability damage is displayed as a critical strike under certain circumstances but do not count as a critical strike nor interact with critical strike mechanics. These are used for cosmetic purposes to indicate an empowered effect.

If your content was removed due to a copyright removal request and you believe it's because of a mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter notification. This is a legal request for YouTube to reinstate content that was removed due to a copyright removal request.

If none of the above apply to your content, you can wait 90 days for the copyright strike to expire. You can also try to get in touch with the claimant directly to request a retraction.

After a counter notification is submitted, it's forwarded to the claimant if it meets all the requirements, including a clear explanation of why you believe the content was misidentified or removed in error. Counter notifications that don't meet all the requirements may be rejected.

The claimant has 10 US business days, as required by copyright law, to respond to the counter notification. They must respond with evidence of legal action taken to keep your content from being reinstated to YouTube.

The two teams, terrorists and counter-terrorists, fight over a bombsite or a few kidnapped hostages: opposing objectives that see one or the other team taking a defensive angle while the other tries to bust in and complete their objective. In most competitive settings, these games will all involve the bomb defusal mode, which revolves around counter-terrorists trying to hold a bomb site while terrorists try to attack it, planting the bomb and holding it for 40 seconds before it explodes, killing everyone nearby.

Counterstriketm is very easy to learn and simple to use. Learn the basics and all ranks and disciplines from Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS agencies can be trained at the same time. Everyone from the first responder on scene to Incident Commanders and everyone in between will benefit.

Counterstriketm is easily adaptable to train for any type of emergency incident such as structure fires, HAZMAT events and even tactical situations. Government agencies, hospitals systems, school campuses and private business to name just a few will enjoy the training benefits.

Counterstriketm is easily portable allowing enhanced tabletop training to be administered frequently, in any location in short durations of time. Just fold up the environment and staging boards, grab the small case of resource chips and conduct training wherever and whenever you need.

Counterstriketm can be utilized to train for scenarios from the basic up to complex coordinated attacks with multiple shooters attacking in multiple locations. The complexity and therefore the difficulty of any imagined scenario can be increased or decreased in real time.

The first-person-shooter game pits terrorists against counterterrorists and was played by an average of 342,000 people at once in 2016. Its biggest tournaments, such as the ELeague Major scheduled for Jan. 22-29 in Atlanta, can have million-dollar prize pools and as many as 27 million streaming viewers. An estimated 26 million copies of the $15 game have been downloaded since its debut four years ago, helping make its manufacturer, Valve, the world's leading distributor of PC titles.

Martin seemed even more audacious. He streamed himself throwing three skins worth a total of $4,444 into a pot, then waited on edge as 10 bars of a slot machine swirled. When four of the bars turned his way, he ran into another room, screaming, "Oh my god. Woooo, hooo, hooo, hooo! Woooo!" Emboldened, he threw two more skins into the next pot, making it worth $8,826. Despite an odds counter that showed him with an 18.84 percent chance of winning, the slots came up his way again. His reaction was earsplitting.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (abbreviated as CS:GO) is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Valve Corporation and Hidden Path Entertainment, who also maintained Counter-Strike: Source after its release.
