Countdown & Tasks is a countdown timer and task management app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

## Data We Collect

**We do not collect any personal data.** The app operates entirely offline. All your countdowns, tasks, reminders, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.

## Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally using your device's storage and is never shared with us or any third party:

- Countdown names, dates, and emoji icons you create

- Tasks you add to your countdowns

- Reminder preferences

- App preferences (sort order, onboarding status)

- Pro purchase status

## Calendar Access

If you choose to import events from your calendar, the app requests access to your device's calendar. Calendar data is read only to display upcoming events for import. No calendar data is stored, transmitted, or shared. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings.

## Notifications

The app may request permission to send local notifications for countdown reminders. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to any external server.

## In-App Purchases

The app offers a one-time Pro upgrade processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. All purchase transactions are handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

## Third-Party Services

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties.

## Home Screen Widgets

The app provides home screen widgets that display countdown information. Widget data is shared between the app and the widget extension using a secure on-device app group container. This data never leaves your device.

## Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app contains no advertising or tracking.

## Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app. No data remains on any server after deletion because no data is ever transmitted.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
