The Mental Health Team
Ms. Brittany - School Counselor
Hello, my name is Brittany Sill-Turner and I am excited to begin my seventh year as a school counselor at Llewellyn Elementary School and be apart of an amazing mental health team. We all need help sometimes. As a school counselor, I help students with challenges impacting their academics, future opportunities, and personal/social interactions. I am a 2018 graduate of Lewis and Clark’s School Counseling Program. I completed internships at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
A school counselor helps students with the following:
Promoting positive attitudes towards self, family, peers and community.
Assisting students in understanding the relationship between school performance and future opportunities.
Working with students, parents, and school staff to identify learning needs and to design and implement interventions to enhance student success.
A little bit about me: I have lived in Portland for about ten years. I grew up in a little town in Washington called Chelan. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, two kitties, my husband, and three year old son! I spend my time off reading, outside, hiking exploring my neighborhood, and making homemade pizza!

Ms. Cassie - Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) - aka Mental health therapist
Hi, my name is Cassie Capone and I am the newest member of the mental health team at Llewellyn. I work with Miss Brittany to support students in managing and expressing feelings, building healthy relationships, and working through life's challenges. It has been wonderful to begin getting to know the students and families here at Llewellyn.
I earned my Masters in Social Work at Portland State University in 2015, my School Social Worker license in 2023, and have worked in a variety of mental health settings with children from preschool to high school.
Outside of work, I enjoy racing cyclocross, mountain biking, watching suspenseful movies, and spending time in nature with my 5-year-old child and 10-year-old jack russell terrier mix. I have lived in Portland for 15 years, but love traveling and learning from how people live in different parts of the world.
