The subject of the confab will be "Thrive: The Commissioner's Role in Supporting Strategic Change". The presenter, Dan Walters - past Council President of GGAC and current L&G Chair for the National CST Leadership Team. Dan will discuss Our role in the upcoming Thrive initiative. This is a great time to ask questions and hopefully get answers.

MEMBERMANIA. Membership and recruitment are everyone's top priority. The more youth we have in Scouting, the better for everyone. Let's gather in Vegas on March 7 -8 and bring out our best strategies and workable plans. This forum will not work without your participation. Past attendees have remarked that it was a very valuable experience.

While the weather in Southern California is finally lowering the fire risk, it is causing some mud and debris slides in the burn areas. Let's hope some day soon these folks will catch a break from Mother Nature. As a reminder, there is a great need for aid for the victims of the wild fires that have decimated Alta Dena and the Palisades. Please consider helping and share this info with those in your circles.
