Google Meet

As a class, we will be using Google Meet to have real time classroom lessons. The Google Meet link can be found in the banner of your Google Classroom site. Just click on the link located in the Classroom banner and join. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy.

Google Meet Etiquette

1. Be prepared. Log into WakeID, Google Classroom, and Google Meet 5 minutes before the lesson is scheduled to begin. Mr. Coulter will be logged into the meeting 10 minutes before the start of class. Check to be sure the computer speakers are on, the volume is appropriate, and the screen is on. Please mute your microphone and you DON'T have to have your camera on.

2. Pay attention to the speaker.

3. When speaking to the class, unmute your microphone and speak clearly and wait your turn. You can use the chat feature to post your comments to the group as others are speaking. Your comments should be spoken and written in appropriate language and in a kind manner.

4. If your camera is on, please save your snacking for after the lesson.

5. Your behavior while participating in online learning must meet the Salem Middle School Student Code of Conduct expectations.
