About Me

This school year will mark my 20th year of teaching. I have taught both math and technology education at Salem Middle. I started at Salem in 2006. Mrs. Coulter, my wife, teaches 6th grade ELA at Salem. We have three children and two dogs. Our oldest son graduated from UNC-Charlotte and our daughter will graduate this fall from UNC-Chapel Hill. The youngest of the Coulter children will be a 6th grader at Salem Middle and will join us in the Virtual Academy. Our dogs have no special talents. Their names are Atticus and Scout.
