1. INTRODUCTION AND ACCEPTANCE 1.1 Parties: These Terms of Use ("Terms") create a binding agreement between Eliso Markhuliya (Operating as R&E Game Hub), independent developer based in Barcelona, Spain, and you ("User" or "Player"). 1.2 Acceptance: By downloading or playing Cottage Tales (the "Game"), you agree to these Terms. This is a passion project — we hope you enjoy it!
2. AGE ELIGIBILITY 2.1 Age Limit: You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under 18, you represent that your legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. 2.2 Spanish Residents: In accordance with the LOPDGDD, if you are under 14, parental consent is required for the use of services that involve data processing (such as the ad-supported features).
3. OWNERSHIP AND LICENSE 3.1 Limited License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to play the Game for your personal entertainment. 3.2 Intellectual Property: R&E Game Hub owns all rights to the Game, including the artwork, code, and the virtual "Acorns."
4. VIRTUAL ITEMS ("ACORNS") 4.1 Nature of Acorns: Acorns are virtual gameplay rewards with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for "real" money or currency. 4.2 No Transfers: You may not sell, trade, or transfer Acorns outside of the Game environment. 4.3 No Refunds: Acorns are earned through gameplay and voluntary ad interactions. Because there are no real-money purchases in this version of the Game, no refunds are applicable.
5. LOCAL STORAGE & DATA LOSS (CRITICAL) 5.1 No Server Backup: You acknowledge that Cottage Tales functions entirely offline regarding your save data. All progress, level unlocks, and Acorn balances are stored locally on your device. 5.2 Liability for Loss: R&E Game Hub has no access to your device's storage. We are not responsible for loss of progress caused by:
Deleting/Uninstalling the app.
Clearing your device cache or "App Data."
Switching to a new phone or hardware failure.
Warning: If you delete the app, your progress is gone forever. We cannot "restore" it from our end.
6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT You agree not to:
Use cheats, automation software (bots), or hacks to manipulate gameplay.
Reverse engineer the Game's code.
Use any Game assets (images, sound, or code) for commercial purposes or to train AI/Machine Learning models without express permission.
7. HEALTH AND SAFETY 7.1 Photosensitivity: The Game contains moving colors and shapes. If you have a history of photosensitive epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing. 7.2 Ergonomics: Take breaks every 20-30 minutes. If you experience strain in your hands or wrists, stop playing immediately.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & GOVERNING LAW 8.1 "As-Is" Basis: The Game is provided "As-Is." We don't guarantee it will be perfect or run on every single Android device ever made. 8.2 Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
