Course Rules & Clarifications

General rules

Never throw a disc that might hit a person.

Many park visitors are unaware that disc golf is played in this park. They have no idea what “fore!” or “heads up!” means.

Out of Bounds (OB)

  • Roads and parking lots are OB. A disc that crosses any road is OB (even if you land in the grass on the opposite side).
  • A disc that leaves the park or goes into a private yard is OB.
  • Any park structure is OB (pavilions, buildings, skatepark, etc).
  • All water is OB. Sidewalks are in bounds.
  • If your disc goes Out of Bounds (OB), take your next throw where your disc crossed into OB territory. Add one penalty throw and resume playing.

Rules Clarifications for Specific Holes

Holes 1 and 2

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 3

  • A disc that lands on top of the brick building is OB. Players are prohibited from climbing the building to retrieve their disc. Add one penalty throw and proceed.
  • A disc that lands on top of a green electrical box is in bounds. No penalty throw is added, but players should stand near the box in such a way that they are no closer to the basket.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 4

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Holes 5 and 6

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.
  • The fenced private yard is OB; respect their property and quickly move the disc back into the course.

Holes 7 and 8

  • The skate park complex is OB. Take the next throw where the disc crossed into OB territory. Add one penalty throw and resume playing.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 9

  • If a disc fails to stay left of the Mandatory Pole on the backstop on any throw, it is OB. The thrower may either tee again or utilize the drop zone. Add one penalty throw and resume playing.
  • An errant shot that goes wildly to the right and lands inside the baseball diamond or the soccer/lacrosse fields is OB. The Mandatory Pole is still in effect.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 10

  • The tennis courts are OB.
  • The large cement pad behind the basket is in bounds. No penalty throw is added, but players should stand near the pad in such a way that they are no closer to the basket.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 11

  • A disc that fails to stay left of the Mandatory Tree is OB; The thrower may either tee again or utilize the drop zone. Add one penalty throw and resume playing.
  • The gazebo and volleyball court are OB.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 12

  • The round planter is in bounds. No penalty throw is added, but players should stand no closer to the basket.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 13

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 14

  • The gazebo and wooden bridge are OB.
  • The land near the restrooms is in bounds.
  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 15

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 16

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.
  • A disc that lands in the baseball diamond is OB.

Hole 17

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.

Hole 18

  • A disc on or over any road is OB.
