All Players to read, understand and agree to the following:
When Playing for Corner Inlet Stingrays I will:
Play by the rules – the rules of the Club, League and the laws of the game.
Show respect for, be considerate of and display a positive attitude towards teammates, coaches, umpires, opposing players and spectators at all times.
Players should always control emotions and display good sportsmanship, No swearing No Arguing with teammates, coaches, opponents or umpires.
Avoid participating in any behavior, which maybe considered by others watching to be offensive.
Respect the facilities and equipment of their own and opposing Clubs. I will clean up after myself.
Aim to participate in all training and matches at times advised by the Club . If I am unable for a valid reason to take part I will let my Coach or Team Manager know as soon as I can.
Wear full clean uniform to games.
Wear mouthguards to games and training.
Wear protective helmets for games if part of U10 or U12 teams.
Take good care of loaned club equipment, I will use it only for game and I will return it at the end of the season.
I also understand:
That the Coaches and Team Managers are following the Club Coaching Code – this means I am likely to play in a range of positions on the field.
I may spend some time of each game on the bench so that all my team have equal time on the field.
If I am unhappy I should first discuss with my coaches/ team manager. Otherwise I can ask my parents/guardians who can raise the issue another way.
If I make remarks based on race, religion, gender or ability they maybe taken to be extremely offensive and this may lead to action from club/ league officials.
The club has a Child and Young Person Safeguarding Officer and I can talk to them if there is something that makes me feel unsafe.
