Directions:

The gym is a large white building to the left of Partridge Lane, with a parking lot in front. The entrance to the gym is around the side of the building. You’ll see a sign for Jefferson Baptist Church out front near Jefferson highway. For detailed directions, click here.

Parking

Availability: There is plenty of space available in the main parking lot directly in front of the white building on Partridge Lane.

Seating:

There is fixed seating available inside the air-conditioned facility for parents who choose to stay and watch.

What Makes Our Indoor Court at Jefferson Baptist Special

Exclusive Access: Conveniently located off Jefferson Highway near the Costco area, this indoor court is reserved exclusively for CORE Volleyball training sessions.
Top-Notch Indoor Facility: The gym features proper flooring, official court lines, and full climate control. It’s a phenomenal space for athletes to develop in a true indoor volleyball environment.
High-Quality Equipment: Players train with FIVB approved Mikasa balls provided by the club, and we use professional-grade ball carts, nets, and other training aids to ensure efficient, high-rep sessions.
Fixed Seating for Spectators: Parents can relax in the air-conditioned gym and watch practice comfortably from the seating area on the side.
Regulation-Sized Court: The full-size indoor court meets official standards, perfect for game-like scenarios, team systems, and competitive play.
Convenient Location for Families: Jefferson Baptist Church is easily accessible off Jefferson Highway and just minutes from the Baton Rouge Costco area. With plenty of front-lot parking, drop-off and pick-up are always smooth.

Program Details

Practice Schedule: Sessions are held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:00–7:30 PM, with occasional make-up practices added when needed.
Location: Jefferson Baptist Church, 9135 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 – Practices take place in a full-sized, air-conditioned indoor gym equipped with regulation lines, ball carts, and Mikasa volleyballs provided by the club.
Private Coaching: Available upon request for those looking for more focused, one-on-one or small-group training.
Potential Game and Tournament Opportunities: Players may have opportunities to participate in local competitions. Competitive event packages may carry additional costs depending on tournament fees. CORE Volleyball is continuing to explore partnerships with local organizations to expand access to affordable indoor play and competition.
