Hello!
My name is Martha Cordova. I am currently a 6th grade teacher in my 4th year at Hill Creek School in Santee.
I was born and raised all over East County San Diego. After graduating from Grossmont High School, I went to Grossmont and Cuyamaca Community Colleges before heading upstate to Humboldt State University. I graduated in 2011 with a degree in Anthropology with emphasis in Archaeology. I worked downtown before attending the University of San Diego and receiving my teaching credential.
Outside of school, I like to garden, hike, run. I've run 3 marathons, 4 half-marathons, Balboa Park 8-Miler, Bay Bridge Run, and countless 5ks. I'm currently working on transitioning to sandal-running, hoping to run the San Diego Rock n Roll Half Marathon in sandals in October 2021. On the weekends, I volunteer at the Natural History Museum preparing specimens for the collection.
