Our Promise
We prioritise the needs of animals who require our care based on their specific circumstances and the availability of space. When a placement becomes available, we carefully assess potential residents to ensure they meet our criteria. We accept animals primarily based on their need, focusing on those with low to no chance of finding a forever home elsewhere. This may mean the animal is surrendered by their owner, a shelter or pound, or referred by a rescue organisation. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for animals who may otherwise face uncertainty or risk of euthanasia for space or convenience.
Once accepted into our sanctuary, animals become part of our family for life. They are cared for until they pass away due to old age or, if necessary, through euthanasia based on the recommendations of at least two licensed veterinarians once all options have been exhausted. This decision is always made with the utmost consideration for the animal's quality of life.
After an animal's passing, their ashes are returned to the sanctuary. We honor their memory by keeping their ashes here, ensuring that they remain a cherished part of our sanctuary as a legacy animal for life.
Our commitment is to provide a permanent, loving home where every animal receives the care and respect they deserve.
