Please read the following information carefully. It contains important information that you will need for the rehearsal and recital.  PLEASE SAVE THIS INFORMATION!

A $35 family admission fee will be added to your accounts - this allows unlimited guests for both shows (Sat & Sun).

• A recital shirt has been ordered for all students in finale. They will receive their shirt in May, the fee will be added to your account once shirts arrive.

• Students must wear the recital shirt, black bottoms, and jazz shoes for finale.

• Students can decorate their shirts however they like! Glitter? Rhinestones? Go wild!

• Students must stay backstage until their final dance is over.

• No costumes in the audience.

• Finale performers stay backstage the entire time.

• Students may watch during dress rehearsal only.

• Dancers are required to stay in their assigned dressing room when not on stage.

• Color-coded signs will help you find the correct room.

• Students in multiple classes must change in the room assigned to their combination class.

• ❌ No photos are allowed to be taken in the dressing areas.

**Only females allowed in female dressing rooms.**

**Only males allowed in male dressing rooms.**

• Check the costume sheet or handbook for shoes/tights details.

• ❌ No underwear under tights.

• ❌ No necklaces, bracelets, rings, or other jewelry.

• Only stud earrings allowed (stage earrings for pierced ears and clip-ons available at front desk for $5

Dancers will not be permitted on stage unless their hair is properly pulled back. Hair and makeup will not be done onsite by staff or volunteers. **See our Recital Center Website for examples of hair and make-up.**

Hair:

• Preschool–5th Grade: Middle-back ballet bun.

• 6th–12th & Adults: Low ponytail with center part. 

• Note: Use hairspray/gel and pins to keep everything neat. Pin short hair back securely.

Makeup: 

• Browns/neutrals for eyeshadow.

• Dark eyeliner, mascara, pink blush.

• 💜 Lipstick: NYX XXL Matte Liquid – Strip’d Down Coral Beige

• False lashes optional but encouraged.
