I’m inviting members of the community to participate in a research project exploring Coptic manuscripts and their meaning for Coptic history, heritage, and lived religious life.
Participants will be invited to take part in between one and four informal sessions where we look at and talk about Coptic manuscript material in the John Rylands, Manchester.
No specialist knowledge is needed — just curiosity and interest!
Participation is completely voluntary. Full details will be shared in advance, and informed consent will be obtained before taking part.
If you’d like to know more or are interested in participating, please email me directly at sarah.parkhouse@manchester.ac.uk. Getting in touch doesn’t commit you to anything — questions are very welcome.
Thank you, and I’d love to hear from you!
