We invite you to register interest in our small group workshops in Manchester to discuss the project, manuscripts, and Coptic hertigate.

Join us at the St. Mary & St. Mina's Coptic Orthodox Church on Sunday 1st November 12-3pm. This special Collections Encounter brings together remarkable witnesses of Christian manuscript heritage from Egypt and Ethiopia, bridging early monastic sermons, biblical translation, hagiography, and medieval hymnology from the holdings of The John Rylands Library in Manchester.

We will be showcasing a poster about the project at the International Congress of Coptic Studies, Göttingen, Germany, July 2026.

Join us at the Rylands Library, Deansgate, on Saturday 30th May, 1-3pm, for a special International Coptic Day (on June 1st) collection encounter of Coptic Manuscripts. There will be a short talk, tea and coffee, and a chance to view and discuss a selection of manuscripts.
