So you want to save money and you hire an unlicensed, uninsured contractor. First if a contractor does not have insurance he or she cannot work anywhere in Newport Bay Club. (see bi laws) If that person gets hurt you can and will be sued. One way to stop from being sued is to contact your insurance agent and have that person added to your policy. (your agent can advise you how.) This is not funny, a non insured roofer without a license goes on your roof and falls, you are liable and can be sued. So please check to be sure that the person you hire is insured and licensed. Thanks
