Message from the Director

Greetings!

It gives me great pleasure to see that the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Bansud Oriental Mindoro Branch to (PUPBOMB) is entering a new stage in its quest to obtain accreditation from a reputable organization particularly the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

It is not enough to say that the Branch is constantly expanding by gradually achieving its vision, mission, goals, and objectives served as a mere compliance, as another addition to PUPBOMB's one of its first, but going into the depth of its definition and having it materialize through evidences will be of great value to achieve. In the midst of a pandemic, undergoing such accreditation is incredibly difficult, and being a part of it comes with enormous responsibility. But despite our limits and handicaps, we value and believe in the strength of the human spirit, demonstrating our capacity for resiliency and adapting to the new normal. Despite this epidemic, we are motivated to carry out our purpose and serve the country by offering accredited education that is of a high caliber.

But just knowing that we work together with the faculty, employees, and members of the local task force, as well as everyone else from the institution who participated, makes this endeavor already a success.

Academically, the importance of the institution's accreditation indicates its efforts to improve and reform the curricula for the success of students, parents, alumni, and other stakeholders, driven by the dedicated academic community.

I, being the Director of PUP Bansud Branch, would like to appreciate the contribution of everyone and made sure that all we did for the accreditation of our three programs is anchored in the vision and philosophy of PUP, our Sintang Paaralan.

PROGRAMS

BACHELOR OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

This program generally introduces the learner to the major concepts including politics, governance, autonomy, and power in the concepts are further crystallized in the learning process as it is seen by the learning in its actual application both in the Philippines and other countries, particularly the concept of political ideologies. Finally, the general concepts are then integrated in a comprehensive conclusion to enable the learner to have a solid grasp as to their inter-relation and their omnibus effects on the daily live and future of a given community

BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (BSEDEN) is a four-year program that is an excellent preparation for a career in English teaching in high school and for advancement in any field in which English communication and teaching skills are important.The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSEDMT) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to meet the country need for teachers in mathematics education in the secondary level.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is a four-year degree program which focuses on the study of computer utilization and computer software to plan, install, customize, operate, manage, administer and maintain information technology infrastructure. It likewise deals with the design and development of computer-based information systems for real-world business solutions.
