We are trying to go far with limited resources. Sometimes the CoP Indigenous CS Projects facilitates its own events. Sometimes, we hear about great opportunities from others. On this page, we share events that help us to network and foster our Community of Practice and workshops to build our capacity. Check this page regularly to learn about upcoming events or browse past events.
We would like to invite you to an online workshop to address the growing demand for practical guidance on how to adapt and enhance the Conservation Standards to conduct planning that supports Indigenous- and community-led conservation
This is the second webinar of our collaboration with TNC’s Global Indigenous and Community Leadership in Conservation Program (Global ICLC) to scope the needs, possible uses and formats for a practical guidance document. We hope to learn from the diverse experiences of teams planning with Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IP&LCs).

This one-hour webinar session introduces the CoP Indigenous CS Projects, it's coordinating committee members and it's initiatives. Join us and hear more about the history of the CoP Indigenous CS Projects and what we have planned for 2024.
Hear in the video from Carolina Polania of The Nature Conservancy Colombia and Gabriela Celi of The Nature Conservancy Ecuador as they delve into how the Conservation Standards have been instrumental in this ambitious program.
Discover how the CS supported transnational dialogue to achieve impact on a basin scale and how the CS have been adapted to local community contexts to strengthen local leadership to support their critical role in safeguarding the Amazon's ecosystems, including the vital Caquetá and Napo Rivers.
With 2024 coming to an end, the CoP Indigenous CS Projects came together with its community to look back on 2024 and introduce an exciting new project the CoP Indigenous CS Projects is embarking on in 2025—the development of guidance and training materials to examine the Conservation Standards through an Indigenous lens.
The Community of Practice – Conservation Standards Projects on Indigenous Lands and Waters, Conservation Management and TNC's Global Indigenous and Community Leadership in Conservation Program (Global ICLC), we deeply value your experience and knowledge.
This session will be a space to share experiences and co-create practical tools that strengthen community-led conservation projects. Together, we will explore and refine two key tools for inclusive and effective conservation planning.
These tools seek to provide guidance on how to ensure conservation projects effectively engage and help to promote right relationships with IPLCs in conservation planning - both at the outset and for existing projects.
