Job coaches are dedicated professionals who provide tailored employment support to persons with disabilities, working closely with inclusive employers to facilitate sustained, long-term employment in the open labor market. Job coaches work across a range of settings, including:
Special Education (SPED) Schools: As part of the vocational education team introducing students to the world of work and vocational skills, supporting transition into the workplace.
Social Service Agencies (SSAs) and Social Enterprises: Providing end-to-end employment support (e.g. work-readiness preparation, sourcing for, matching and placement, on-site job coaching, etc.).
