Meet Gema:

Gema has been cooking since she was able to hold a spoon. She whipped up imaginary creations with rice and water in her Little Tikes Kitchen set when she was a child and her passion for all things culinary has blossomed through the years. Constantly learning from her family how to cook Italian food, bake delectable desserts, and make healthy nutritious meals, she has pursued a career in teaching where her classroom is her kitchen and her lesson plans are focused on inspiring students to learn how to cook.

She has her degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education from Marywood University and also attended Middle Bucks Institute of Technology for Culinary Arts. Gema loves to decorate themed cakes for events and parties. She has been teaching in high schools in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 2012.

In 2016 Gema traveled the world for a year. While venturing through New Zealand, Japan, across Europe and teaching English in Italy, she took cooking classes in every country she visited. Gema embraced the wonderful unique cultures, incredible sights, and of course, the delicious cuisines.

It has been her dream to open her own cooking school and share her global cooking knowledge, kitchen skills, and recipes with aspiring chefs of all ages.
