Privacy Policy for Convert Video to Audio - Pro
Privacy Policy for Convert Video to Audio - Pro
Effective date: September 8, 2026
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Convert Video to Audio - Pro (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
The App does not require an account.
Videos, extracted audio, file names, conversion settings, and conversion history are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload your media to our servers.
The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and entitlements.
The free version may display sponsored-app ads supplied by Kickstart Exchange. Kickstart Exchange does not use a user or device identifier, does not build behavioral profiles, and does not track users across apps or websites.
We do not sell personal information and do not use your information for targeted advertising.
When you choose a video from Photos or Files, the App accesses the item you selected so it can extract and convert its audio. Conversion takes place on your device. Imported working copies are temporary. Completed audio files and their associated history, such as file name, format, quality, duration, and conversion date, are stored in the App's local storage until you delete them or remove the App.
The App does not transmit your selected videos, converted audio, file names, or conversion history to us, RevenueCat, or Kickstart Exchange. If you choose to share or export a result, the destination you select handles it under that destination's own terms and privacy practices.
The App stores preferences and operational information on your device, including onboarding status, free-conversion usage, ad-hide count, and verified legacy-access status. These values are used to provide App functionality and are not uploaded by us.
“Collected” in this section means information transmitted off your device and retained by us or a service provider.
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to display available products, validate App Store receipts, process purchase and restore results, maintain subscription or lifetime-purchase entitlements, prevent fraud, and provide purchase analytics.
RevenueCat receives purchase history and transaction information, which may include product identifiers, purchase and subscription status, transaction dates, Apple receipt information, and an automatically generated anonymous App User ID. It may also receive limited technical information such as device type, operating system, App version, and the last time the App contacted RevenueCat. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, selected media, converted audio, or advertising identifier, and we do not assign a custom account identifier in the current version of the App.
RevenueCat processes this information for App functionality and analytics. In the current configuration, purchase information is not linked by us to your real-world identity and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The free version of the App may display sponsored-app ads provided by Kickstart Exchange, operated by Hudson Heavy Industries Ltd.
The Kickstart Exchange SDK sends app-level integration information, including the App's bundle identifier, platform, App version, build version, SDK version, and App Store storefront country. It records app-level ad impressions, clicks, and reports. This information is used to deliver ads, account for participation in the exchange, analyze aggregate ad performance, advertise participating developers' apps, and protect and operate the service.
In production, the SDK may briefly send an Apple-signed App Transaction to verify that this is the registered production App. Kickstart Exchange states that it processes this signed value only for that verification and immediately discards it without retaining, hashing, logging, correlating, targeting with, or analyzing its stable transaction or device-verification values.
Kickstart Exchange does not associate ad requests, impressions, clicks, or reports with a particular user or device. It does not use an advertising identifier, build a behavioral profile, or track users across apps or websites. Its network provider, Cloudflare, processes the connecting IP address to deliver and secure requests; Kickstart Exchange states that it does not store those addresses or use them to identify users. See the Kickstart Exchange Privacy Notice.
Purchases, billing, refunds, subscription management, App Store downloads, ratings, and reviews are provided by Apple. Apple may process information independently under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your payment-card or bank-account details.
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address, message content, and any information or attachments you choose to include. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot, protect the App, and keep any records reasonably necessary for support or legal obligations. Please do not send media or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
We share information only as described in this Policy:
with RevenueCat to operate purchases and entitlements;
with Kickstart Exchange and its infrastructure provider to deliver and measure sponsored-app ads;
with Apple for App Store and in-app-purchase services;
when required to comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests; or
when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security and integrity of the App.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share App data with data brokers and do not use it for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
On-device media, converted audio, history, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear them using available App or system controls, or uninstall the App. Files you export may remain wherever you chose to save or share them.
RevenueCat retains purchase and technical information according to its privacy policy and contractual obligations. Kickstart Exchange states that it keeps individual app-level ad delivery and interaction records for approximately 30 days and may retain aggregated daily app-to-app statistics without a fixed deletion date; those records do not identify individual users or devices.
Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with law.
Media access: The App uses Apple's system pickers so you choose the videos or files it can access. You can review applicable permissions in iOS Settings.
Local data: Delete converted files or history in the App where available, or remove the App to delete its local container. Copies exported elsewhere must be deleted at their destination.
Purchases: Manage or cancel an auto-renewable subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Use Restore Purchases in the App to restore eligible purchases.
Ads: Pro and eligible legacy users do not see the Kickstart Exchange placement. Free users can hide the displayed ad for the current session.
Privacy requests: Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection relating to personal information. Contact us at the address below. Because the App has no user account and vendor data is generally anonymous or app-level, we may be unable to identify information as belonging to you without additional transaction details.
RevenueCat, Kickstart Exchange, Apple, and their service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, they use legal mechanisms intended to protect information transferred internationally. Please review their linked privacy notices for details.
Keeping media processing on-device limits exposure of your content. We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no device, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files and protecting access to your device and Apple Account.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us in a support request, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the App, our service providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Policy at this URL and update the date above. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
