To improve performance and reliability, we may collect limited technical data such as:

• App usage analytics (feature usage, crash reports, performance metrics)

• Device model and operating system version

• App version and build number

This data does not include your contract content.

🤖 AI Features & Processing

ContractMaker processes all contracts and clause libraries locally on your device using Core Data.

When you choose to use AI-powered features (including Quick AI Contract Generator, Contract Enhancer, or AI Explain):

• Only the specific prompt and contract text you submit is transmitted

• Data is sent securely over encrypted HTTPS connections

• The information is processed solely to generate a response

• Submitted data is not stored, logged, or retained

• Submitted data is never used to train AI models

AI processing occurs only when you explicitly use these features.

RevenueCat processes subscription status, purchase receipts, and device identifiers to manage in-app purchases.
All payments are handled securely by Apple through the App Store.
We do not collect or store payment or credit card details.

• Improve app functionality, performance, and reliability

🛡 Secure Local Storage

ContractMaker is designed as a privacy-first, offline-friendly application.

• All contracts and clause libraries are stored locally using Core Data

• Local data is protected by iOS device-level encryption

• No cloud backup or synchronization is performed

• Contracts never leave your device except during AI processing

🗑 Data Deletion

You have full control over your data.

You may delete all locally stored data by:

• Using Settings → Delete All Data, or

• Uninstalling the app (which permanently removes all local data)

Important notes:

• Deleted contract data cannot be recovered

• Subscription records are retained by RevenueCat per financial compliance rules

• AI-processed data is not retained after processing

🔒 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices, including:

• Device-level encryption for stored data

• Encrypted HTTPS communication for all API requests

• Secure handling of API credentials

• No external access to user contracts

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

🕒 Data Retention

We retain only the minimum data required to operate the Service:

• Contract data: Stored locally until you delete it

• Subscription records: Retained according to RevenueCat’s policies

• AI processing data: Not retained after request completion

• Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized; may be retained for up to 2 years

📈 Aggregated & Anonymized Data

We may analyze anonymized data to improve the app, such as:

• Feature usage trends

• Aggregate contract creation counts

• Performance and stability metrics

• Subscription conversion rates

This data cannot identify you and cannot access your contracts.

👶 Children’s Privacy

ContractMaker is intended for individuals legally capable of entering into contracts (generally 18 years or older).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• RevenueCat servers (United States – subscription management)
