Hello! Welcome to the Context, Please podcast. I am a Social Studies teacher at a Title I middle school in Brooklyn. A passion for history, politics, and current events and a desire to see a more nuanced, informed, populace has led to the launch of this podcast. Born and raised in the Midwest, my political voice is nuanced by necessity, seeking to promote dialogue that values opinions and beliefs from all corners of the country without just saying "both sides" of an issue have merit.

In a world that increasingly wants to see issues as black and white, right and wrong, with a little more context, I hope we can learn to see in tones of grey.
