Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
Context Bridge (“Context Bridge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an independent software project providing project-continuity tools for AI-assisted work.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Context Bridge may process, how that information is used, how it may be shared with service providers, how information is retained, and how users can contact us about privacy or data-related questions.
1. Information we process
Context Bridge is designed to store structured project information supplied by a user or a connected AI client.
Depending on how the service is used, this may include:
• Project names, descriptions, and goals
• Current project tasks
• Decisions and reasons associated with decisions
• Project events
• Project constraints
• Checkpoints and snapshots of project state
• Source references and source-type information
• Search queries submitted to the service
• Identifiers used to associate records with a project
• Other project information intentionally submitted to Context Bridge
Project information may contain personal information if a user chooses to include personal information in project content.
Context Bridge processes information that is sent to its MCP interface. It does not independently retrieve or reconstruct a user's complete chat history from an AI client.
2. Information users should not submit
Context Bridge is not designed to be a repository for sensitive credentials or highly sensitive personal information.
Users should not intentionally submit:
• Passwords
• API keys
• Authentication tokens
• Multi-factor authentication codes
• Payment-card information
• Government identification numbers
• Protected health information
• Other credentials or secrets
If sensitive information is accidentally submitted, users should contact support as soon as reasonably possible.
3. How we use information
Context Bridge processes project information to provide and maintain the service, including to:
• Create and store project state
• Retrieve project state
• Search project history
• Create checkpoints and snapshots
• Compare snapshots
• Preview potential merges
• Record source provenance
• Resynchronize project state
• Maintain and operate the service
• Diagnose and address technical or security issues
• Comply with applicable legal requirements
We do not use stored project information for advertising or behavioral profiling.
4. Service providers
Context Bridge uses third-party infrastructure necessary to operate the service.
The production service uses Cloudflare infrastructure, including Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1.
Cloudflare may process information necessary to provide its infrastructure services, including technical and network information associated with requests.
Third-party infrastructure providers process information according to their applicable terms and privacy policies.
Context Bridge does not sell project information.
5. Data retention
Context Bridge is designed as a persistent project-continuity service.
Project records are retained for as long as they remain part of an active project in the service.
The current public MCP interface does not provide a general user-facing project-deletion tool.
Operational and security information may also be retained for periods necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the service.
Retention practices may change as the service develops. Material changes to data-retention practices will be reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy.
6. Privacy and data requests
Users may contact Context Bridge regarding questions or requests concerning their project information or privacy.
Support:
platformsupport.care@gmail.com
Requests should contain enough information to identify the relevant project or information, but should not contain passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, payment information, or other sensitive credentials.
We will evaluate and respond to data-related requests in accordance with applicable law and the technical capabilities of the service.
Where deletion or another form of data handling is legally required and technically feasible, we will handle the request in accordance with applicable law, subject to information that may lawfully need to be retained for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.
7. User responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to submit information to Context Bridge.
Users should not submit information that they are prohibited from storing or processing.
Users should also avoid submitting sensitive credentials or other information that is unnecessary for the intended project-continuity workflow.
8. Security
We use security controls provided by the infrastructure on which Context Bridge operates and design the service to limit the information required by its project-continuity functions.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Users should not submit passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, payment-card information, or other credentials as project content.
9. Connected AI clients
Context Bridge may be accessed through compatible AI clients using its MCP interface.
A connected AI client may independently process information before sending it to Context Bridge or after receiving information from Context Bridge.
Users should review the privacy policies and terms of any AI client they use with Context Bridge.
Context Bridge does not independently retrieve or reconstruct a user's complete chat history from an AI client. It operates on information intentionally sent to its MCP interface.
10. International processing
Context Bridge uses internet-based infrastructure and third-party service providers.
Information may therefore be processed in countries or jurisdictions where those providers operate.
Applicable privacy and data-protection requirements may vary depending on the user's location.
11. Children
Context Bridge is not specifically directed toward children.
Users should not submit children's personal information unless they are authorized to do so and have an appropriate legal basis for doing so.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Context Bridge, its infrastructure, or its data practices change.
The “Last updated” date identifies the current version of this policy.
