I'm a professional writer with almost two decades of experience in marketing and communications.
During that time, I've worked in-house, in agencies, and as a freelancer. I've primarily written in the following industries, but have touched on almost everything over the years:

Most people describe me as a self-starter with a penchant for “figuring it out.” I pivot quickly and learn fast.
I started working as a content creator and writer in 2006 to pay for college. A testament to my success is that I've completed 3 degrees since then and have no student loans. My content work paid for all of them and will likely pay for my PhD. I'm immensely grateful for the amazing companies I've worked with along the way and look forward to seeing what new adventure the future holds!
I ran the segmented AI newsletter for the world's largest AI community. I launched 11 lines in total and wrote for the AI Ethics line myself. The segmented newsletter performed better than the general newsletter with 5-15% higher metrics across open rates and CTR. And a 10% lower attrition rate. Some examples from the AI Ethics line are below.
I received my Certified Payroll Professional designation from the American Payroll Association in 2015 while filing payroll taxes for Delta Airlines. There are CPP presentation and lesson review slides under the EDUCATION section in this portfolio.
I was one of the lead writers for the contracted Booastability team for a few years, but the company moved its writing in-house at the start of the pandemic. I have also written for several other SEO companies, but most of my in-depth experience came from working on the Boostability account.
I have primarily created technical content for cloud, SaaS, and cybersecurity companies. I have a strong interest in this field, especially cybersecurity and all things Google.
I taught English to Spanish speakers on and off from 2013 onward. I still participate in language exchange activities, but mostly to learn Spanish.
I created and donated 10 slides to Xerox Business Services for other CPP students to use before resigning in 2015.
These are some of my favorite photomanipulation pieces that I completed. I don't make these anymore as they're really time-consuming, but they do showcase what I'm capable of in PhotoShop.
