A space for students to capture their learning journey.
Learning Guides are carefully crafted interdisciplinary learning experiences that contain purposeful connections with other subject areas providing students with opportunities for looking closely, exploring complexity, and finding opportunity (Agency by Design) in the world around them.
Every learner has initial thoughts and an initial level of understanding of concepts. With this in mind, I intentionally facilitate making my students’ thinking visible through Project Zero’s effective questioning, listening, documentation, and facilitative structures called “Thinking Routines”.
I carefully select routines that will best enable my students to contribute with personal connections as well as providing room for growth and deeper understanding of complex topics.
