Not Automatic, no script! In Lightroom-Classic there is a 'manual' work-around to make each image frame visible in the catalog, and that is to make Virtual Copies of the contact sheet and do a Crop on each VC to show one image.

Hopefully the OP realizes the quality will be less than optimal but my current scanning process is to create thumbnails approximate 600x800 so I can cull the images. Scanning can take a long time. While this creates a two step process, it allows me to load the images faster.

The problem with a scanned film contact sheet is that it is not a solid color between images. The film edges and leader can include frame numbers, text, bar codes, and other bits that were in the film. This confuses Crop and Straighten Photos. For one thing, in my test Crop and Straighten Photos returned inconsistent numbers of frames per image, instead of one image per frame.

If you do this, it will help to go into the Slice Options of all of the auto-created non-image slices, and set them to No Image so they do not export. That way, all the images you get in the export folder will be film image frames only.

I have no idea about your issue. In my instance I have hundreds of contacts (majority imported with vcf from Outlook export), dozens have pictures and I see this pictures everywhere - in Nextcloud UI, Thunderbird and mobile with DavX5

On the question of Vcard versions, my phone and computer all claim to have V4.0 vcfs. But Nextcloud seems to only deal with v3.0 vcfs. i.e. as I understand it, when you upload v4.0 vcfs, nextcloud contacts understands them and converts them to v3.0, which it uses as its working format.

Wikipedia lists these as the alternate formats for the PHOTO field in vcards.

For the past few months I've been trying to get my phone's contacts to update on pushbullet, but with little success with what I found online. The contacts on my phone were newer ones than those found on pushbullet, and it didn't seem to matter if I removed the contact image, resync'd it with pushbullet and then added the new photo back - the old photo would always be shown. Here's what I did to solve it.

Please read in full before attempting. Realize this isn't a guide, it's just what I found to work, and so I can't empirically back these steps as actually solving the problem and not creating more problems down the road. Sometimes, tinkering does good things, and also bad. Be vigilant of what you are doing and willing to accept catastrophic failure (but let's be honest, the worst that happens here is you lose contacts)

Step 1: Make a backup. I am not confident this is a full encompassing backup as I haven't had the need to use it, but after googling, these were the steps I found. If you know a better way to backup your contacts, please do so now and go to step 2

At this point, if you go back to your contacts it looks like everything was lost. (I sure thought it was, and was glad I made a backup). However, if you wait a few moments then your contacts should sync from google.

Weekly, sometimes daily, my contact images disappear. Including my own iCloud account photo. I go to sign into my MacBook Air and there's no picture for my profile. I'm only using 1 group (iCloud). The contacts themselves and all their information stay intact, but the photo that I have selected for that contact is gone. I've resorted to "Restore Contacts" in the iCloud.com account settings and local backup .vcf's on my MacBook Air for any recent ones that are newer than a day old. I just bought an iPhone 13 Pro and thought the issue came from it, but I toggled contacts off for iCloud storage and started keeping them locally on the phone. The problem persists on my 2018 MacBook Air running Monterey 12.3.1. Why is this happening? Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

I have had this exact same issue for the past 2 weeks! Several calls with Apple Support, and we have even completely wiped/restored the OS on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. I can add a contact photo and it will sync across all my devices (including iCloud.com), but then it disappears a few hours later.

Vast databases of billions of contact-based fingerprints have been developed to protect national borders and support e-governance programs. Emerging contactless fingerprint sensors offer better hygiene, security and accuracy. However the adoption/success of such contactless fingerprint technologies largely depends on advanced capability to match contactless 2D fingerprints with legacy contact-based fingerprint databases. This paper investigates such problem and develops a new approach to accurately match such fingerprint images. Robust thin-plate spline (RTPS) is developed to more accurately model elastic fingerprint deformations using splines. In order to correct such deformations on the contact-based fingerprints, RTPS based generalized fingerprint deformation correction model (DCM) is proposed. The usage of DCM results in accurate alignment of key minutiae features observed on the contactless and contactbased fingerprints. Further improvement in such cross-matching performance is investigated by incorporating minutiae related ridges. We also develop a new database of 1800 contactless 2D fingerprints and the corresponding contact-based fingerprints acquired from 300 clients which is made publicly accessible for further research. The experimental results presented in this paper, using two publicly available databases, validate our approach and achieve outperforming results for matching contactless 2D and contact-based fingerprint images.

Where are the contact images kept?

I have a contact image that is no longer in my gallery but it is one of my contact's avatar. I remember taking the photo and making it the avatar. I've went into my Google Contacts via the web but it is not there. The contact does not have a facebook or any other type of account. So it must be somewhere on the phone.

The contacts is actually an app, hence as other Android apps store it's data, this app also stores in a SQLite database. Images are part of contact data and are spotted in database. It is stored in /data/data/com.Android.providers/contacta/databases/contracts.db

A SIMPLIER WAY of course would be to just start saving your Contacts in your Google account under your main account. This way, any contact, together with its contact photo, will be saved in Google Cloud. You stated that this does not seem to work for you. Everytimre I buy a new phone and connect it to my main Google account during initial phone setup, my Contacts and their pics transfer onto my new phone without a problem.

I found an idea. You should download program from Google Play called "Save Contact photo" then you will see all your contacts there and you can share those contact photos via Bluetooth(should have another phone for that!). And then you can see that photo in another phone's gallery, so you can easily transfer it via Facebook or Whatsapp.

When i create and reply to e-mails inside Hubspot. Hubspot sometimes saves the images from my signature in the attachments from the contact I am sending it to. This does not seem to be happening. Can this be solved?

Hi @PamCotton thank you for the response. Is HubSpot currently working on a solution for this? The amount of blank images being attached is causing visiblity issues in the Attachments right hand rail as there are so many and manually disassociating them is not feasible due to the volume of businness that we do. Thanks in advance for any direction here.

If uploading screenshots to a cloud storage service such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage; and accessing screenshots in the bucket requires authentication, logging into a VPN or corporate network; then image previews might not work in all instant messaging and communication platforms as some services rewrite URLs to use their CDN. If this happens we recommend using integrations which support uploading images or disabling images in notifications altogether.

If Grafana is configured to upload screenshots to its internal web server, and accessing Grafana requires logging into a VPN or corporate network; image previews might not work in all instant messaging and communication platforms as some services rewrite URLs to use their CDN. If this happens we recommend using integrations which support uploading images or disabling images in notifications altogether. e24fc04721
