6/7/26 — Thanks to the hard work of students and teachers at Garber High School in Essexville, 60 handcrafted Paint and Play Tic-Tac-Toe Craft Kits will soon be making their way to young patients in the Michigan hospitals we serve.

This spring, we were grateful to once again partner with Mr. Hugo’s and Mr. Garwick’s classes on a special project.  Students in their Industrial Arts classes handcrafted 60 beautiful wooden tic-tac-toe boards and game pieces for kits, while Mr. Hugo’s Seminar class assembled and packaged each kit with paint, a paintbrush, and a paper cup for rinsing the paintbrush.

We can’t wait to get these kits into the hands of young patients. They will be included in our summer deliveries and will begin making their way to hospitals early this week.

Thank you to Mr. Hugo, Mr. Garwick, and all of the students who helped bring this project to life. Your support, hard work, creativity, and craftsmanship will bring joy, comfort, and a little fun to so many children and families this summer.

8/8/25 — We are absolutely blown away by the generosity and heart of the Cramer Junior High School Summer Musical cast and crew of Beetlejuice Jr.!

During their incredible run of performances, this talented and spirited group collected donations for our organization from their audience during intermission. Thanks to their efforts (and the kindness of their audiences), we received an amazing $770 donation!

To say we’re grateful would be an understatement. THANK YOU to the cast, crew, and everyone who contributed. Your support means the world to us — and proves that even in the Netherworld, kindness definitely isn’t dead.

7/17/25 — Our organization donates nearly 4,000 craft kits a year to kids in hospitals — and 2 out of 3 kits include crayons! That adds up to a LOT of crayons… and we could really use your help!

With back-to-school sales happening now, it’s the perfect time to stock up and donate. Whether it’s one pack or ten, every box of crayons helps bring creativity and joy to a child’s day.

*We have a white labeled bin placed to the right of the change machines by the front door that crayon donations can be dropped in.

10/30/24 — This fall we delivered 1,266 craft kits to our Michigan hospitals! A HUGE thank you to all  who donated funds or craft supplies, helped create and assemble kits, connected us to hospitals, spread the word about our organization, and showed interest in our mission. We appreciate you all and are so grateful for your support.
