Beyond academia

I am the proud father of Jeanne, born on 3 September 2025. Taking care of her with my partner now pretty much exhausts my non-academic time, but still…

I occasionally sing, play the guitar or the SP-404, and create songs. I do it with Coco Lion, my solo project (though not entirely solo, as many friends play or sing with me), and previously with La Bande à Joe († 2010–2024) and Le Cheptel à Becque († 2019–2019). In rare circumstances, I perform with Soirée Chasse.

I play basketball for the Palinzards team.

In Paris, I was a member of the ACTE Lab.

I don't draw much anymore, but I'm proud to contributed some illustrations to this book.

I used to organize music gigs with Où êtes vous toutxs?, which I co-created.

I am sometimes involved in the activities of the micronation Lo Petiou Payî dâi Compare âo Joe.
