Architecture Without Architects

The classic by Bernhard Rudofsky, Architecture without Architects: A Short Introduction to Non-Pedigreed Architecture was published originally by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1964.

This edition, from the same year, was published by Doubleday & Company, Inc. in Garden City, NY. I bought this copy during my fourth year in the Bachelor of Design program at the University of Florida in August of 1988 in Gainesville, Florida.

The Prodigious Builders

Bernhard Rudofsky wrote The Prodigious Builders: Notes Toward a Natural History of Architecture in 1977, and this well-thumbed edition by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich from 1979 was purchased in December 1984 by the blogger in Gainesville, Florida, before he began his studies in architecture at the University of Florida.
