COSTS FOR LIOBA 4 DAY RETREAT 

The fee  for retreat at the monastery is  based on individual or shared rooms:  € 425, (shared room) -  €500-  (single room)  per person

Included in the total costs are the monastery's fees and our rental of the group retreat space, beautiful private garden, your individual room,  all meals, Saki's expenses, and the retreat fee itself.  A syllabus outlining the class will also be provided.      See below for the bank details.  Please note that this is the only opportunity this year to have an in person group retreat with this theme at Lioba at this beautiful location in the summer.  The group will be limited in size.

To reserve your place, a non-refundable deposit of € 250,- is required   

 In the event of illness or any other serious situation that makes you cancel, your payment minus the deposit will be refunded.   Please understand that there can be no refunds for cancellations otherwise,  if there is no one to take your place  if  the monastery has already been paid all fees.  The full balance for the retreat is due by Mayt25.  

• For those who wish to stay longer in the area - from July 2-5 - to be on individual retreat.    The fee there for the monastery is € 70,- per day per person = € 210, which Saki has already paid 100 % of for each person to secure our place.  This modest fee  includes silent  breakfast, a warm meal together with the monks in residence, and silent supper in the guest reefter, as well as sheets and towels and private room with own bathroom and shower.  For these extra days with a short group morning meeting with Saki, you are not being charged anything extra.  the Abdij is within walking distance from Lioba and Saki will go there together with whoever has been registered through her.  Please note that the Abdij, unlike Lioba, has a more structured schedule of worship services each day, and it would really be good if you could attend at least one of them (besides the one at noon before lunch).

For any cancellations,  Saki is responsible for paying them  100% of your costs.

If you wish to continue for several days at home or in a local B n B or hotel, you are welcome and will receive information about this.  Please take into account that July is a busy time of the year in Egmond as many people come for the sun, sea, and dunes so if you need to book anything for those extra days, it is advised to do so early!

Other Optional extra costs:  Please transfer any extras to the amount of the retreat fee  so that there is no extra handling of payments at the retreat.

• rental of sheets and towels:  Rental of sheets and towels are not included in the price at Lioba, as Lioba encourages people to bring their own in order to limit laundering sheets and towels.   However, renting sheets and towels for €15- is possible. 

• buying a dune card:  Some people like to rent a dune card to walk in the dunes.  Best to order for a whole week rather than per day (€ 6,-)

• bicycle rental:  It is also possible to rent a bicycle from Monday until Sunday - the cost will be € 60,- Saki would arrange this with Bert, who will bring the bikes to Lioba by Monday morning June 29.

Please take into account that the buses run once per hour only and there are no busses on Sunday!  we will need to call a taxi to pick you up for the train if leaving on Sunday.
