Prolaug (before the Incident)
Shortly after the Incident with is friend, Connor enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Marine life was demanding, but it suited him well. The discipline, physical training, and responsibility transformed him from a carefree teenager into a confident and dependable Marine. He quickly earned the respect of both his peers and his superiors for keeping a level head under pressure. During one overseas deployment, Connor's unit was sent to investigate reports of civilians disappearing around an abandoned research facility. Expecting to deal with insurgents or smugglers, they instead encountered an unknown entity capable of moving in complete silence and disappearing from sight in impossible ways. Several Marines were injured during the encounter before an unidentified tactical unit arrived, neutralized the anomaly, and ordered Connor's squad to remain silent about what they had witnessed.
Following the incident, Connor and the surviving members of his unit were detained for several days by personnel identifying themselves only as representatives of a government organization. They were questioned repeatedly about the event before being administered a memory-altering treatment. While most of his squad forgot the encounter entirely, Connor retained scattered memories—brief flashes of the creature, the mysterious operators, and symbols he couldn't explain. Foundation psychologists later determined that Connor possessed an unusually high resistance to the treatment. Rather than viewing him as a security risk, the Foundation monitored him from a distance over the following years,

After completing his service in the Marines, Connor returned to civilian life, but he struggled to find the same sense of purpose.
Several months later... December 12th 2019
(Connor would enter a bar in his cowboy hat) as he sat down he called to the waiter for a shot of whiskey. He would later walk outside for a smoke, as he lit he was discreetly approached by recruiters from the SCP Foundation. as Christmas lights blinked, They revealed the truth behind the mission he had experienced years earlier and offered him a position within Foundation Security. (Connor would throw his cigarette on the ground before he spat at it) Recognizing that the world contained threats most people would never know existed, Connor accepted without hesitation and exchanged information. As the recruiters walked off in the snow with Christmas lights blinking around the street

Connor later started Following specialized training and security clearance processing, he was assigned to SCP Site-66 as a GENSEC officer. The experience in the Marines had taught him how to survive combat, but the Foundation would teach him that not every enemy followed the laws of nature.
