Connor's Life Story
Connor Redmen was born and raised in Fond du Lac alongside his family, growing up in a fairly normal household with his mother Carol Redmen, his father Daren Redmen, his older brother Carter Redmen, and his older sister Amelia Redmen. During his childhood, Connor was known as a cheerful and energetic kid who enjoyed spending time outdoors and hanging around friends after school. He was never bullied and generally got along well with other students. Academically, Connor stayed around average grades, usually earning anywhere from a C- to a B+, depending on the subject. Teachers described him as respectful and quiet when needed, but still social enough to make people laugh. For most of his early life, Connor had a positive outlook and believed life would stay simple and stable forever.
As Connor entered his teenage years, he became more independent and spent more time with close friends around town. While he was never considered rebellious, he enjoyed going out and experiencing the nightlife once he became old enough to enter bars and clubs around Wisconsin. His family noticed he had become more confident and outgoing, often acting as the calm person in his friend group whenever situations got heated. Despite this, Connor still stayed close with his family and remained protective of the people he cared about. Those who knew him before 2018 described him as approachable, loyal, and someone who rarely held grudges. At the time, nobody around him could have imagined how quickly his personality and outlook on people would change.
During the summer of 2018, Connor’s life changed permanently after a violent incident involving one of his closest friends, Ryan Peterson. After a heated bar fight late one night, Ryan attempted to kill Connor for money during an argument that spiraled out of control. Shocked and terrified, Connor fought back in self-defense. The fight became brutal and ended with Connor beating Ryan to death. Authorities ruled the incident difficult to fully prove due to conflicting witness statements and lack of reliable evidence, allowing Connor to avoid major legal consequences. However, emotionally, the damage was already done. Connor became haunted by the memory of the fight and struggled to trust anyone afterward. The event shattered the optimistic personality he once had and replaced it with constant caution and emotional distance.
In the years following the incident, Connor became increasingly quiet and isolated. He stopped making close friends and avoided attachments whenever possible, believing that trusting people only led to betrayal. His behavior and combat instincts eventually caught the attention of personnel connected to the SCP Foundation. After undergoing several evaluations and background investigations, Connor was transferred to SCP Site-66, where he now works and resides under Foundation supervision. Within the facility, Connor is known for keeping mostly to himself while remaining highly observant and dependable during dangerous situations. Although he rarely opens up emotionally.
