Served as President of Municipal Information Systems Association Canada (MISA)
Championed open and transparent government.
Completed professional governance training.
Studied Planning and Urban & Environmental Studies.
Consulted on digital government and customer service improvements.
Served as a member of the City of Welland Heritage Advisory Committee.
Built partnerships to solve problems and create opportunities.
AND I have lived in both the urban and rural areas of Ward 5.
These experiences have taught me the importance of good planning, responsible leadership and listening to residents. The best communication comes when you know your audience.
They have also shown me that trust is earned through openness, accountability and respectful decision-making.
