Mentors in our community don’t need fancy titles—they need heart, commitment, and a willingness to grow alongside youth. Here’s what we look for:
Consistent Commitment:
Able to meet monthly and stay engaged throughout the program cycle.
Strong Communication:
Listens actively, speaks with kindness, and adapts to different personalities.
Respect for Diversity:
Honors cultural, generational, and lived differences with humility and care.
Growth Mindset:
Open to learning, feedback, and evolving through training and shared experiences.
Safe & Supportive Presence:
Creates a space where youth feel seen, heard, and valued.
Experience with youth, caregiving, teaching, or community service
Familiarity with trauma-informed or healing-centered approaches
Background in faith, education, trades, or life coaching
Lived experience navigating challenges—housing, disability, caregiving, etc.
We believe mentorship is a two-way street. If you’re ready to show up with love and consistency, you’re qualified to make a difference.
Attend a welcoming orientation and training session
Connect with one youth through monthly check-ins or shared activities
Join seasonal gatherings to celebrate progress and deepen relationships
Share your story, listen deeply, and offer encouragement
Help a young person feel seen, heard, and valued
Pass down wisdom and life lessons that shape future leaders
Build lasting bonds across generations
Contribute to a healing-centered community
Ongoing guidance from our mentor team
Access to resources, conversation starters, and activity ideas
Invitations to community events and appreciation celebrations
A space to reflect, grow, and connect with fellow mentors
As a mentor, you’ll make a lasting impact in a young person’s life, while building meaningful connections across generations.
You’ll become part of a supportive community rooted in love and legacy, with access to training, resources, and recognition for your service. Your presence matters—and together, we grow.
