WRITING AND/OR SPEAKING TASK

If you received an email from your PARTNER B (student who replied to your video presentation) go to the task below

NOTE! If the email has not arrived yet, go to lessons 7-8. Come back to this task later.

STEP 1 - Read the email you received as a response to your video. Analyze your PARTNER's ideas and prepare your response. Think what you want to say, why, and take notes so that your response is well structured.

CHOICE: You can either:

1) write an informal e-mail (and upload it as a response on Padlet) or

2) record a video message on Padlet.

REMEMBER! Regardless of the form of your response (1 or 2) it should include the following:

STEP 2 - Prepare the itinerary of your trip with use of AI's help.

You can go to ChatGPT and present the rough plan: how many days you are going to spent in your destination country / region or city. Indicate your favourable place(s) to visit and stay. The itinerary poposed by ChatGPT needs to be verified. Maybe you would like to change some suggested options. Make the conversation session with ChatGPT effective - meeting your expectations.

Present the itinerary by presenting the plans either in CANVA poster or shared google document. Share it with your PARTNER B.

STEP 3 - Later on check also if you have received more materials from your PARTNER A

TIPS

1) Your new friend expects an honest comment, so be truthful and communicate your conclusions clearly

2) Before you answer, first think it over: how do the new proposals match your original plan of travel? What would be needed to complete the new sightseeing goals (time / budget etc)?

3) If you disagree with some proposals, suggest options worth considering.

COMMUNICATION

Students master written and/or oral communication.

Students use Artificial Intelligence to help them plan a trip.

COLLABORATION

After exchanging opinions about planned places to visit, students collaboratively convert the travelling ideas into a plan for travel.

The leader is responsible for preparing a plan for a trip, taking into account their partner's suggestions.

The student also interacts with another one, who initiated the second travel idea and in this parallel communication the role is to support the other leader in planning another trip.
