STEP 2: Join this FLIP and prepare a one minute video for other students about you and your hobbies. Post your video. Watch it! Check the quality. If your video does not meet your expectations, make another one.
STEP 3: Watch other students’ videos and find someone you have the least in common with.
STEP 4: Connect with this student by making a video to ask follow-up questions about his/her hobbies. Get curious about this person. Ask smart and friendly questions as if you were getting to know this person in real life.
ALERT: what to do if there are NO VIDEOS TO COMMENT ON
It might happen that during the lesson, there are no videos to watch because other students are working on them and haven’t uploaded them yet. In this case:
watch the video made by your teacher and find out if you have anything in common with her/him.
take a piece of paper and write him/her a nice secret note about what he/she said in his/her video.
look for anything that can connect you with your teacher. Is there a chance you are more similar than you think?
Come back to the FLIP group sometime later this or next week to watch student videos
