Connect5 is a one day College library conference that seeks to strengthen the network between libraries, librarians, library technicians and staff in the Greater Toronto Area. The Connect5 conference comprises of Seneca, George Brown, Centennial, Sheridan and Humber Libraries.
Connect5 goals are to:
This year’s theme is Connections & Conversations. The theme is a framework to help kick-start an informal means of making connections, sharing our work, our successes and our common challenges. While our libraries may diverge in how we function, we share very similar objectives, demographics, programs and values. Let’s begin to build relationships that can benefit the work we do, and our college library users. Let’s break out of our bubbles and start Connections & Conversations with GTA librarians, technicians and library staff.
