How to delete your account

Preferred method (in the App):

1. Open the Connect Me app

2. Go to Profile

3. Tap Delete account

4. Read the confirmation details

5. Enter your account password

6. Confirm deletion

Your account will be permanently deleted. You will be signed out and will need to create a new account if you wish to use Connect Me again.

What we delete

• Your account login

• Your profile information (such as name, email, mobile number, age, city, and profession)

• Your community chat messages

• Chat images you uploaded

• Your push notification tokens

• Other personal data linked to your account that is not required to be kept by law

What we may keep

• Anonymised paid subscription or payment records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance (for example payment reference IDs, amounts, and dates, without your profile details)

• Information we are legally required to retain

Alternative request by email

If you cannot use the in-app option, email us from your registered email address:

Email: connectme1985@gmail.com

Subject: Delete my Connect Me account

Please include:

• Your registered mobile number

• Your full name

• A clear request to delete your Connect Me account

We will verify the request and process account deletion. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, or sooner where required by applicable law.

After deletion

• You will no longer be able to sign in with the deleted account

• You may register again later using the same mobile number as a new account

• Content previously shared in community chat that belonged to you is removed as part of deletion
